Urban Wildflower Dolls was founded in 2004 by Deborah R. Grayson. A painter, quilter and mixed media artist, Grayson began creating dolls as a way to combine her passions for working with different media (painting, printmaking, surface design, sculpture and quilting) into one specific art form —doll making.
Urban Wildflower Dolls specializes in exquisite handcrafted works of art made from cotton, silk, linen, metal, clay and beads. Special features of our dolls include hand painted and sculpted faces, beadwork, hand sculpted accessories and surface design techniques and embellishments.
